How tattoo artists black fades to gray?
When tattoo artists to shade, how do you make a hard pass to a black black cloud? Do you dilute the ink with water, or only go in one more area to be darker?
We make various shades, from three to five years, generally, and if necessary a certain effect, such as spraying tiny dots, dip the tip of black on a little water. For that we use witch hazel gray wash to make a different effect with cups of gray, white mixture is used. Sometimes a combination of both. It depends on the effect we want … works! And yes, it's about an area with a blow to a softer compound is different, but we do it all.
