Help me design a menu for a birthday party!?
Okay, I'm trying to design a nice menu for a birthday dinner to my boyfriend. Three courses, tell me what you think. Any suggestions, comments, concerns, etc. 1) Napoleon Bruschetta: Italian bread cells, mozzarella fresh, fresh basil and tomatoes. Topped with balsamic olive oil, vinegar and pepper. 2) Edamame Ravioli: ricotta cheese and soybeans in wonton wrappers, ravioli cooked style and threw a golden butter with parsley. 3) Creme fraiche cheesecake: the cheese store bought (I have all the time in the world, lol), with a lemon, flavored creme fraiche and a top layer, then topped with a fresh raspberry syrup. Mint garnish.
Sounds nice:) I add a salad mixed green with balsamic vinaigrette with a little gorgonzola cheese and sliced strawberries or pears. It could also add a field vegetable dish of pasta, perhaps something with zucchini or cabbage or spinach, lightly and quickly sauteed in olive oil and garlic. Add a loaf of crusty bread and a little butter and sounds like a dinner that would enjoy background:)
