Is there any way to fake different hues and shades of a print job 2color? (Pantone + Black)?

2 color black + 1 = Pantone. I like to design (Adobe Illustrator) an image using a vibrant red, but also make the hatching of a deep red for better contrast. Can percentages Pantone different clearcoat over black? Or print terribly ago?

I would like a black layer on the color of your PMS, and set the level Transparency feel looks good, and make sure to set the overlay object. I'm sure there's a way to create a true duotone in Illustrator, Photoshop is the ideal tool to make more than two color duotone.

If you want the wood grain to remain visible, you have no choice but to sand down so it can re-cover it. Otherwise, the clear coat finish will prevent the stain from penetrating into the wood.
